Hockey Buds Fall 2025 ball hockey league is designed to provide kids and their families the best of what youth sports can be: having fun, staying active, making friends, and creating great memories.

The NHL is inviting you to join a local ball hockey leagues where kids of all skill levels can learn and play.

No ice. Limited rules. Unlimited fun. Discover hockey more accessible and affordable than ever before.

Games will be 3:00 PM each Sunday throughout the duration of the League. Schedule* will be posted in advance.

BENEFITS OF THE HOCKEY BUDS BALL HOCKEY LEAGUE

Help improve on ice skills. (Ice hockey at a young age will focus more on skating where ball hockey’s emphasis is on skills through fun exercises!)

Qualified Officials are on the floor during games to stop the play periodically when mistakes are made. Our qualified coaching staff will maintain each team bench. Teams will consist of a maximum of 1 line change thus giving players more floor time.

Penalty shots will be awarded at the end of each period for any infractions that occurred during the game with such infractions being explained.

Team evaluations/practices with an emphasis on improving current skills and creating new ones.

Making friends.

Fee breakdown:

$210.00 - Enrollment Fee

$30.00 - NHL STREET™ jersey package. 

$15.00 - Provincial Association Insurance Fee.

  $292.50 Total [including taxes]

 $17.50 - Average Cost Per Session/Game/Tournament when excluding Jersey package, Insurance and Taxes.
