Our successful girls only program is an 8-week [approx. 50 mins per week] program designed with an emphasis on developing basic ball hockey skills while teaching listening, following instructions, attention, focus and various motor skills.
Our 1 PM Girls Only Program will be held on Sunday afternoons.
Sessions are broken down as follows:
Stretching / Warm-Up Routine.
Rapid demos with a Hands-on approach on holding a stick, stick handling, passing and/or shooting.
Fun age appropriate games to implement the skills that were worked on in the rapid demos.
10 Minute Game added to selected sessions to apply the skills that were worked on with further instruction from coaching staff.
Team work and anti-bullying is constantly promoted throughout our program.
Tying literacy with sport, ending every session with a story time.
Age Criteria
6 & Under* [6U (Ages 4 to 6)] Hockey Buds Ball Hockey Program [8 weeks]
8 & Under* [8U (Ages 6 to 8)] Hockey Buds Ball Hockey Program [8 weeks]
10 & Under* [6U (Ages 8 to 10)] Hockey Buds Ball Hockey Program [8 weeks]

Help improve on ice skills. (Ice hockey at a young age will focus more on skating where ball hockey’s emphasis is on skills through fun exercises!)
