Whether your child is a beginner or an experience ball hockey player, Buzzer Beater ball hockey may be just what you're looking for.

Hockey Buds is proud to offer at 6:00 PM on Monday evenings starting on February 03, 2025 our newly developed Buzzer Beater ball hockey sessions where you don't just learn the game from skill development drills however also from playing the game.

Location: PXS Warehouse and Training Centre - 39 Sagona Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N 4P9

Each session is broken down with one skill development drill followed by approx. a 40 minute game with on floor instruction during that game.

After completing our successful January drop-in-sessions, we learned that there is no better way to learn the game than from playing the game plus it is so much fun!!!

We will still continue to have skill development [minimum 1 skill development drill] as part of our Monday evening sessions however majority of the learning will be done from playing ball hockey.

7-Under* [7U (Ages 5 & 6)] Birth Years: 2019-2020 is open to children who are under Seven (7) years of age as of Dec. 31 of the current year.

9-Under* [9U (Ages 7 & 9)] Birth Years: 2016-2018 is open to children who are Nine (9) years of age as of Dec. 31 of the current year.

*We are aware that sometimes even though children may be younger than the required age group they may be able to participate in such groups at a similar level thus we can accept your child even if they are not quite the age criteria.

We promote a strong emphasis on teamwork and anti-bullying.

BENEFITS OF THE HOCKEY BUDS BALL HOCKEY SESSIONS

Help improve on ice skills. (Ice hockey at a young age will focus more on skating where ball hockey’s emphasis is on skills through fun exercises!)

Fee breakdown:

 $16.00 per session. [online-registration] and at the door $20.00* per session.

Discount applied for multiple sessions.

[e.g. - 1 session = $16.00, 2 sessions = $28.00, 3 sessions = $40.00, 4 sessions = $50.00]

Option to purchase a Hockey Buds T-Shirt for only $10.00.
